Delivery
Despatch Policy
We aim to hold stocks of all the items for sale on this website. If the item isn’t in stock we aim to make and send it within 7–10 working days. We’ll let you know if for any reason we don’t expect to be able to meet that deadline. In all cases, payment is taken at the time of ordering.
We try to despatch UK orders placed by 12pm (Monday to Friday) on the day the order is received, or the next working day.
If you order after 12pm, or at a weekend, your garments may not be despatched until the next working day.
We aim to despatch international orders in the same timeframe, although during quieter months (normally March–September) despatch may take up to 5 working days due to courier collections being less frequent.
As we lovingly make our garments here in Devon, it is really important to us that your order is packed and despatched as quickly as humanly possible. It really upsets us then if there are delays with the delivery of your order, but sadly this is out of our control.
UK
Standard delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 48 and is FREE to all UK addresses for orders up to 30kg. The delivery time is normally 2–5 working days from the date of despatch. It is a trackable service so you can sign in and check the progress of your order and delivery on your Order History page.
You can upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for an extra £2.50 – this reduces the delivery time to 1–3 working days from the date of despatch.
Or you can upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery for an extra £7.50 – this reduces the delivery time to next working day before 1pm from the date of despatch.
Please note that a signature is required for Royal Mail Special Delivery, and also for all UK orders over £80.
If you have given us an email address or mobile number, you should receive an email from us containing a tracking link, plus email or text notifications from Royal Mail updating you on the progress of your delivery.
If your order fails to arrive after 5 working days, please contact us and we’ll trace it. Non-delivery must be reported within 28 days of despatch.
Delivery to a place of work is only guaranteed to the premises, not to the purchaser. Therefore once delivery has been made Royal Mail will no longer accept any liability.
Sadly we can not be held responsible for delays in the delivery service. If weather conditions are affecting other deliveries to you, parcels dispatched from us are also likely to be delayed, so please bear this in mind when ordering.
EU member states
Our charge for delivery to EU member states starts at £10 and increases with order value. The charge will be shown in the checkout before you place your order.
All orders are sent on a tracked service so you can sign in and check the progress of your order and delivery on your Order History page. The delivery time is normally 5–14 working days from the date of despatch.
If your order fails to arrive after 14 working days, please contact us and we’ll trace it. Non-delivery must be reported within 28 days of despatch.
Prices on this website include 20% UK VAT (Value Added Tax) which is not payable if your order is being shipped to an EU member state and is therefore deducted from the price in those cases.
Customs charges (import duty and tax) applicable to your country will be added to orders being delivered to the countries listed above in the checkout, and paid for up-front. Your order will then be shipped on IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) or DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) terms. This means you won’t receive a customs payment demand when your parcel arrives in your country, and it will clear customs much faster.
