E measurement less than A measurement. Enter your dog’s A, B, C, D and E measurements. Specify whether they’re in centimetres or inches. Choose the Shape corresponding to your dog. The easy to put on Polo Neck Coat is an alternative style of dog coat which eliminates the front buckle for added comfort and offers a higher degree of neck protection. It is cut deeper under the belly for increased coverage, guarding against the splashes of muddy walks.

Like our Dog Jumper, this garment is exceptionally good at drying off the already wet dog and is used extensively for drying working dogs and for after hydrotherapy.

The Polo Neck Coat is also fantastically water repellent. It may look wet on the outside, but your dog will be bone dry and toasty warm, even after being out for hours in torrential rain.

The Dachsie Polo Neck Coats are available in two sizes, designed specifically for Miniature Dachshunds, but also fit long skinny Terriers, Italians and similar types.

Faux Fur Collar

For the style guru there’s the Faux Fur Collar in Leopard, Silver Cheetah, Snow Leopard, Antelope or Tiger with premium quality prints (at extra cost) – please see our Colour Chart for samples and our Photo Gallery to see how they could look on your dog.

The Faux Fur Collar isn’t waterproof and doesn’t stretch as well as the fleece collar. It’s cut approximately 1” wider to try and allow for that, but it may not be enough in some cases.

Garments with a Faux Fur Collar are made to order (7–10 days) and therefore can’t be exchanged or refunded if the size is subsequently wrong. If you aren’t sure of the size it’s best to buy the standard garment to check the fitting and then return it to us to add the collar.

Faux Fur Collars aren’t currently available to order online. We recommend you order your garment without the collar so you can check it fits, then return it to us to have the collar added. Or if you’re absolutely sure it’ll fit and would like to order it with the collar already fitted, please call us to order.
